Wedding Wednesday – Bride and Groom Chair Signs

Bride & Groom Chair Signs by Paper Melody's

Wedding Wednesday – Bride and Groom Chair Signs

Hello, everyone!  After a long absence, Wedding Wednesday is back!  One of my New Years Resolutions is to get Wedding Wednesday back on track and try to post a new wedding project at least once a month.  So, here it is, the first Wedding Wednesday of the new year 🙂

Bride & Groom Chair Signs made by Paper Melody's

These Bride and Groom hanging chair signs are great for marking the couple’s special seats at the reception!  Each sign measures 8 x 10.75″ and is made of layered cardstock.  The word is cut into the uppermost layer for an elegant de-bossed look.  A 1 yard length of 1.5″ double-faced satin ribbon is threaded through an eyelet at each of the top corners and left loose at the end to allow tying versatility.

Paper and ribbon colors can be customized to match your wedding colors.  This set of signs is available in my Etsy shop.

Wedding Wednesday – A Gourmet Menu

Hello everyone!  Welcome to Wedding Wednesday at Paper Melody’s, the place where brides on a budget can find beautiful and affordable wedding stationery!  I’ve branched out a little this week and done something new.  Take a look:

menu 4

It’s a simple and pretty menu booklet to let your guests know what’s for dinner!  It’s a top-fold design that measures 4.25 x 5.5″ and features a die-cut window, satin ribbon bow, and hand stamped and embossed corner embellishments.  The corner stamp is repeated in a more subtle ink on the first page where the couple can write a short welcome message to their guests:

Alice and Jim are a sweet couple 🙂  Then, on the second page is the very important part.  The Food.

menu 3

Sounds delicious, doesn’t it?  There’s plenty of space to list all of your decadent options on one page, and if you need more space the menu can be expanded to include the back of the first page as well.

The cover is made of high quality 80# linen texture card stock and is available in white, ivory, and cream.  The insert is 70# smooth text paper available in white or cream.  The 1/8″ satin ribbon is available in many color options, as is the corner flourish, and as always the fonts and wording are completely customizable.

Thanks for stopping by!  If you enjoyed what you saw, please help me out by sharing it with the world via the Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest buttons below, or by emailing the link to your friends and family.  If you have questions, would like more information, or are interested in placing an order, feel free to contact me and I’ll send a response as soon as I possibly can!

Wedding Wednesday – Another Donation Card Favor

Happy Hump Day, peoples!  I’ve been sadly lacking in my Wedding Wednesday posts recently, and even today I was despairing over not having something new for you.  But then I remembered that I DO have something for you!  It’s a design I created a while ago and never got around to posting.  Silly me!

So, first, I’d like to welcome you back to Wedding Wednesday, the place brides on a budget go for beautiful and affordable wedding stationery.  Today’s design is another donation card favor.  There’s a trend now of giving to a charitable organization instead of giving guests traditional favors – very cool, if you ask me, particularly when the charitable organization has meaning to you and your new spouse.  Donation cards are used to inform your guests of the action you’ve taken and can be an elegant addition to your table settings.

My new design features gorgeous pearlescent cardstock layered under linen-textured paper and tied at the top with satin ribbon

This design is easily customized to fit your particular needs – change the ribbon and paper colors to match your wedding colors, change the fonts to match the formality, and change the wording to match your personalities!  Your guests will be impressed by the thoughtfulness and style of your favor choice.

If you’re interested in placing an order, have questions, or would like more information about any of my designs, please feel free to contact me!  I would love to talk with you about stationery for your wedding or special event.  If you’re not interested in more information but like what you see, please share this post with your friends!  There are buttons at the bottom of this page  to make sharing on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter very easy.  It means the world to me when you share my designs.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

And now, for your viewing pleasure, a few more pictures.  Have a lovely day!

Wedding Wednesday – Escort Cards, Table Numbers, and Donation Cards

Hello again!  This Wedding Wednesday post has been a long time coming; I started it before we moved to the beach for the summer and just finished it last week.  At least it’s a 3-in-1 post!  This one is all about the reception.  It starts with a simple, elegant escort card to let your guests know at which table they’ll be sitting, includes a table number so your guests know which table is which, and finishes with a donation card at each place setting.  Take a look:

Escort Card

escort card

This simple escort card features a tent-fold design, gold vellum border, and embossed design.  It measures 2 x 2.75″ and is easy to customize using your wedding colors or different fonts, and could be turned into a place card with no trouble at all.

Table Number

The table number is also a tent-fold design that measures 4.24 x 5.5″.  The gold corner flourishes and the table number are embossed.  Change the color of the paper, flourishes, and number to personalize it and match it to the rest of your decor.

Donation Card

Donation cards are one of my favorite new-ish trends.  Instead of giving favors, the couple makes a charitable donation in their guests’ honor.  This card measures 2.5 x 5.5″ and features paper layering to coordinate with the rest of the decor, and the same embossed design as the escort card.

Thank you guys for stopping by!  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you’re interested in placing an order.  As always, I appreciate all your help with spreading the word via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and word-of-mouth.  It means the world to me!
