Wedding Wednesday…on Thursday, and Winner Announcement!

Hey everybody!  Sorry for the delay in announcing the winner of my 50th Blog Post Giveaway Contest!  What with the end of vacation, travelling, and exhaustion, I got a little behind.  But, with no further ado, I’d like to announce the randomly chosen winner of 4 custom cards…

Congratulations!  Just contact me through the blog or facebook and I’ll get started on your cards! 🙂

And now, for Wedding Wednesday, a day late.  This week’s featured project isn’t paper at all, but ribbon!  Many brides these days are looking for an alternative to rice-throwing during their departure; birdseed, bubbles, sparklers, and confetti are a few of the common options, but a newer trend is ribbon wands.  They’re clean, safe, fun, and easy to match to your wedding colors.

As you can see, I added little bells to these for a little extra sparkle.  The dowels are 12″ long and each ribbon is about 18″.  Just $1 each!  Perfect for brides on a budget.  Let me know if you’d like them for your wedding, or if you know someone who might like them, send them my way!  I appreciate it more than you can know when you help me spread the word through facebook, Pinterest, other social networking sites, and word of mouth.  Thank you!

And now for a moment I’m going to revisit my place cards post.  For your enjoyment, here is a picture of white and peach “Victoria” style place cards I filled for a special order.  So exciting!

Is everyone having a good Wednesday so far? I hope so!

Today I’ve got another addition to my slowly growing line of wedding stationary for brides on a budget.  Not an invitation set this time, but place cards!  4 different styles (named for convenience) to choose from:

Place Cards

If you’re interested in putting these place cards on your reception tables, contact me through the “Contact Me” tab at the top of this page or through my facebook page.  Don’t forget, like everything I make, these can be easily customized to match your wedding colors.  Just let me know!
