Merry & Bright – A Christmas Card Duo

Hey there!  Can you believe October is almost over?!?!  I can’t.  Where has this year gone?  Christmas will be here before we know it!  And that’s why I have more Christmas cards for you 🙂  Today’s post is extra special because it’s a double feature.  Check it out:

Merry & Bright!  I was inspired on one of my ever-so-dangerous trips to the local Michael’s store when I spotted these big, glittery, chipboard letters on clearance.  It was a box with a complete alphabet and about 3 of each letter for less than $2!  I couldn’t pass it up.  And besides, I got 2 cards out of it!  Anyway, I was stumped for a little bit because there were only 3 r’s, but I soon figured out a way to make it work 🙂  I made “merry” first, then started with gusto on “bright” before realizing that I’d have to alter the design a bit.  Minor setback!  I figured it out!  But it did take me quite a bit longer to make these two cards than I originally anticipated.  No worries, I’m pleased with the results.

I printed out a sentiment for the inside because I didn’t have an appropriate stamp:

And there you have it!  Let me know what you think, and thanks for stopping by!

Featuring the ever-popular ampersand and chevron pattern, this invitation is clean and simple.  Everything is hand-stamped and the “Mr. & Mrs.” is embossed for texture.  The text is printed in black on 100# card stock- high quality, heavy card stock perfect for this kind of invite.  The colors are, of course, completely customizable, as is the font of the printed text.  Not to mention, it comes with a matching RSVP card!
