Hello everyone! I have a very special birthday card to share with you today — this one was for my “little” brother, who reached the quarter century mark a few days ago, and who happens to have the travel bug. I found the perfect papers and things for his card in the Crafty Secrets Creating with Vintage Typography CD, and now I’ll share it with you! Have a look:
The bellboy, envelope, stamp paper, and ticket tucked into the envelope are all from the CD, as is the map paper I used to make a large envelope for the whole card. I added the text to the telegraph using the typewriter font available on the CD – super easy to add with a textbox in Word. The postcard and trunk tucked into the envelope are from the Travel Creative Scraps. Here’s the inside of the card:
I repeated the layout, but made the envelope look like a postcard this time. The sentiment came from the CD, and I wrote a note in the space where the “address” would go.
Here you can see each piece of the set:
My favorite part of the card just might be that little bellboy holding the telegraph!
That’s it for today! Thanks for stopping by, and have a lovely day!
This is such a fabulous card! I love the way that airmail envelope acts as a border, and the fussy cut bell boy is adorb! What a fantastic job!
Very cute!
