Birthday Card using Crafty Secrets Vintage Patterns
Happy Monday, friends! We got a nice taste of Spring last week…and then it got cold again! What’s up with that? I’ve been holding a silent protest in my studio by making loads of paper flowers and flowery cards. Here’s one of those cards, made with images from the Creating with Vintage Patterns CD #1 by Crafty Secrets.
The background paper started as a black png image, so I opened it in Photoshop and changed it to blue and white. Then, I sized the frame, flowers, and sentiment in Word, printed everything, and started fussy cutting! The lacy background came from a punch in my stash. Some ribbon, glitter glue, and a few rhinestones finished the front off nicely.
On the inside, I used the same frame and background paper, plus a coordinating image from the CD. Easy!
Don’t forget to enter your Crafty Secrets project in the March Linky Party! The linky closes at Midnight, PST on Sunday, March 15th, and you could win a bundle of paper springtime goodness valued at more than $25. There’s a precious free image and digi paper for you to use, or to add to your stash, so be sure to grab that while you’re there.
Have a lovely day!
