A Good Friend is a Priceless Treasure Fall Card for CHACB Challenge #17
Happy Monday, everyone! What a fantastic weekend! We got to attend the wedding of a dear friend whom I have known since my first day of high school, and it was so wonderful! The bride was stunning, the day was full of joy, and there was good food and plenty of dancing 🙂 We also spent an easy Sunday with family, one of my favorite things in the whole world. And today, my husband and I celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary! All the Good Things happened this weekend 🙂
Anyway, I’ve got a card for you today that I’m entering in the current Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge. Here are the challenge details:
Challenge #17 Happy Fall, Y’all!
Many of us like to purchase NEW seasonal products EVERY season. What happens to last year’s fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving products? We HOARD them! Drag out those hoarded fall-themed items and make a project to share with us! You can make something for fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, or any other fall or harvest celebration!
I have one particular pad of fall paper that I love. It’s the DCWV Harvest Gathering stack, and it’s been in my stash for at least a couple years now. This was the perfect challenge to use it in! Take a look:
Other hoarded items on this card include: the blue ribbon, the wooden button, the rhinestone leaves, and the leaf stamp that you can just barely see in the background of the sentiment. The paper leaves are new to my stash…like I needed more stuff…and you can find a tutorial on how I dressed them up in last week’s Crafty Secrets Linky Party post. There’s one more week to play along in that Linky Party, by the way, and you could create a Fall project that would satisfy both the Linky Party Challenge and this Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge! And you could win prizes!
Ok, that’s it for me! I hope you enjoyed my Fall Creation. Have a lovely day!
