Baby Boy Overalls Card with Crafty Secrets
Hello, everyone! I have to ask, is life moving as fast for you as it is for me? So much (mostly good) stuff going on, and we’re almost 2/3 through September! Next thing you know it’ll be Christmas.
Anyway, I have a cute little card to share with you today. Take a look:
I started with Crafty Secrets’ Sweetchips Little Boy Outfit, and traced the overalls onto blue cardstock – you can decorate directly onto the chipboard, of course, but I wanted something a little less heavy. Then, I traced the shirt onto patterned paper from the Pastel Paper Pad and cut that out along with a white collar and burlap pockets. The chipboard kit also has a bow tie, tag, and buttons, but I thought using all of the cute little embellishments might make it too adorable to handle. I ran the front of the card through my Cuttlebug with my Swiss Dots folder for texture. Here’s the inside:
The sweet poem and the tags in the pocket on the front came from the Babyland Vintage Cuts. The little giraffe in the other pocket is a stamp from my stash embossed and fussy cut from a scrap of chipboard.
You know the cool thing about this card? You can make it, too! Sandy has put together lots of themed kits to clear out inventory, and one of them is a Baby and Little Boy set! It comes with papers, stickers, the chipboard outfit, and more – valued at $78, it’s on sale now for $19.95 + S&H. She also has Little Girls sets, Girlfriends, Christmas, Halloween, and Summer packs full of all kinds of goodies.
That’s all for me! Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day!
