A Marvelous Mustache Masculine Birthday Card

Hello, friends!  I thought you might need a little pick-me-up this Monday morning, so I’m sharing this birthday card made with papers and images from Crafty Secrets.  Who doesn’t love mustaches!?

The papers and pointing hand came from the Barber Shop Kit, and the sentiment and barber’s pole came from the Mustache Men digital stamp set.  There was an already-colored-in barber’s pole image in the Barber Shop kit, but I wanted to try out my new colored pencils (acquired specifically for coloring digital stamps!), so I used the stamp instead.  After I colored it, I added some Glossy Accents to make it look a little more lifelike.

Here’s the inside:

I used the same digital stamp as on the front of the card, but I cropped out the “a toast to the” and the mustache, added my own text above and below the stamp, then used another mustache stamp to make it match.  I almost used a different kind of mustache, but then decided it was probably best to stay consistent.  I’m looking forward to using some of the other mustaches on other cards!  These sets are perfect for creating masculine cards!

I hope my Mustache Card has brightened your Monday morning a little!  Have a lovely day!

This is such a great card! I noticed the wonderful coloring on the barber shop pole right away…so I think your new colored pencils were worth the expenditure!

I agree with Kathycnc – I love that you colored the pole yourself. And what’s not to like about moustaches, I ask ya?! I’ve been a big fan for 35 years now 🙂
