Happy Day Birthday Card
Hey everyone! It’s Friday! And since I’m so happy it’s Friday, I decided to share this Happy Day birthday card with you! Take a look:
I was going for a more masculine look, so I picked a few bold papers from my Cosmo Cricket “Almost There” pack that I’ve had for a few years now. I also grabbed some cork and corrugated paper scraps for more texture. Then, it was a matter of cutting, arranging, and gluing. Pretty easy! I added some black brads and blue, yellow, and red jute string for a little more embellishment.
Here’s the inside:
As you can see, I repeated the papers and cork arrow. I also hand stamped the sentiment letter by letter. As painstaking as it can be, I like using individual letter stamps because you can use any sentiment you want! The “happy birthday” was stamped using VersaMark, then embossed with red powder to make it pop.
That’s all I’ve got today! Have a lovely weekend, and don’t forget to check back Monday to see my project for the 4th challenge at Craft Hoarders Anonymous! Here’s another sneak peek, just for the fun of it 🙂
