A Hundred Hearts Would Be Too Few… A Masculine Valentine
Happy Friday, everyone! I’m just popping in quickly to share a card I made based on this week’s Mojo Monday sketch, shown below:
I was really excited about this sketch because I just got a set of heart-shaped Spellbinders dies for Christmas, and I’ve been itching to use them! I also decided to use paper from a new pad I was also given at Christmas 🙂 It’s from My Mind’s Eye and has plenty of gorgeous patterns that work very nicely for a masculine card. Here’s what I came up with:
I kept it simple and let the paper do the work for me. I didn’t even stamp anything on this card. Here’s the inside:
I found the poem online and copied it by hand onto the card. I considered stamping it letter by letter, but decided against it in the end.
I hope you enjoyed this week’s Mojo Monday entry! If you’re feeling inspired, head on over and enter a card yourself for a chance to win a prize. Finally, if you’re interested in purchasing this card, contact me or check my Etsy shop in a couple days. Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely weekend!
Love the papers you chose, Melody, and the simple design is perfect. Sometimes, less really is more!
I love this card! Good masculine valentines are hard to find.
