Hey everybody! Sorry for the delay in announcing the winner of my 50th Blog Post Giveaway Contest! What with the end of vacation, travelling, and exhaustion, I got a little behind. But, with no further ado, I’d like to announce the randomly chosen winner of 4 custom cards…
ncguygirl!
Congratulations! Just contact me through the blog or facebook and I’ll get started on your cards! 🙂
And now, for Wedding Wednesday, a day late. This week’s featured project isn’t paper at all, but ribbon! Many brides these days are looking for an alternative to rice-throwing during their departure; birdseed, bubbles, sparklers, and confetti are a few of the common options, but a newer trend is ribbon wands. They’re clean, safe, fun, and easy to match to your wedding colors.
As you can see, I added little bells to these for a little extra sparkle. The dowels are 12″ long and each ribbon is about 18″. Just $1 each! Perfect for brides on a budget. Let me know if you’d like them for your wedding, or if you know someone who might like them, send them my way! I appreciate it more than you can know when you help me spread the word through facebook, Pinterest, other social networking sites, and word of mouth. Thank you!
And now for a moment I’m going to revisit my place cards post. For your enjoyment, here is a picture of white and peach “Victoria” style place cards I filled for a special order. So exciting!
Thanks for stopping by!
What a marvelous idea! And no clean-up afterward!
Remember these from your wedding and thought it was such a nice idea!
Girl, you have been busy! The placecards are gorgeous….did you finish everything? Love the ribbon wands. They are so festive.
Wow – I am so excited that I won 4 of your beautiful cards! Use your imagination to create whatever you want and I’ll love them! Thank you!
